Shipping Policy

The Black Butterfly ships to addresses in the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. Merchandise will only be sent to valid street addresses; there is no delivery to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Delivery to Alaska, and Hawaii is available for an additional fee. Shipping to multiple locations from a single order is currently not available. ​  


Merchandise is usually processed and shipped within three business days of the orders approval. With the exception of holidays, orders placed after 2:00 PM EST usually ship the next business day. Please refer to your shipment confirmation e-mail for delivery details. The Black Butterfly does not process orders on national holidays such as Independence Day or Thanksgiving Day.

Return & Exchange Policy

All sales are final. We accept returns for refund or exchange, for items that are defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped. In the event that item(s) are received defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped, you must notify The Black Butterfly within 48 hours of receipt of item(s) to be eligible for an exchange or refund. We will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees. If you want to return or exchange your purchase, please know that the time period begins the day you receive your product. All returns must have a Return Authorization Number (RA#).


To receive a Return Authorization Number, please fill out the customer support form and a representative from The Black Butterfly will contact you. If you prefer, you can email us and put “Return Authorization Number Request” in the subject line. Include your name and order number in the body of the email. You must also specify which items you are returning, the quantity of each item, and the reason for the return.


  • Defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped item(s) claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of goods. ​

  • All returns must have a Return Authorization Number (RA#).  

  • Rejected items will be returned to the customer.

Missing Package

If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered, but you can't find it:        

  1. Verify the shipping address.     

  2. Look for a notice of attempted delivery.   ​

  3. Look around the delivery location for your package.   ​

  4. See if someone else accepted the delivery, unless you have health or safety concerns about doing so.   

  5. Some packages travel through multiple carriers; check your mailbox or wherever else you receive mail.   ​

  6. Wait 48 hours - in rare cases packages may say delivered up to 48 hours prior to arrival.   ​   ​ ​

Within 48 hours of expected delivery:  


Fill out the customer support form or if you prefer email us Put “Missing Package” in the subject line, include your name and order number in the body of the email. You must also specify which items are missing, and the quantity of each item.
